An afternoon at Haneda Airport.

Sometimes we have to go out when we feel frustrated in our daily life. In that case, Haneda Airport, mainly used for domestic flights and LCCs but also for international flight in recent years, may be a good destination to visit. I went to the airport a couple weeks ago, just see the planes and the passengers go back and forth. Despite people rushed in and out of the airport, I was waiting for nothing in particular. I climbed on a deck nearby, then took a glance once in a while, especially when a loud sound wrapped on it.

One thing I noticed about the airport was we can visit without any purpose. We can drink, eat in a fine restaurant, and buy clothes and stuff. It was like a mega shopping mall. Since I like this kind of place, I spent much more time than I expected.

I was lucky I found Mt. Fuji before I left. Also, Sky Tree and Tokyo Bay was in my sight. It was a nice afternoon :)

Outing, outing, outing!

These days I have a lot of things to tackle on, and every now and then I remember my hometown. Since it was a three day holiday last weekend, I went back to Nagoya to take rests. The home I grew up, the restaurant I once worked for, forest and a tiny mountain in front of my home, everything is still there and it helped me stay an ease.

The last day was going back to Tokyo. Since highways usually get heavy traffic jams on holiday, I took a first bullet train in the morning. Thanks to the Sun coming up earlier, I could touch cool air on the way to the station.

Here, it's between the sea and a lake in Shizuoka Prefecture, I used to come here to fishing with my neighbor when I was a kid :)

After getting back to my home in Tokyo, I went to a Korean restaurant to have a lunch. They are always good, hot and spicy ;) I think I ate too much haha.

Walking in a park in Shinjuku is really fun, so I went there after eating Korean. Some cherry blossoms started to bloom, and many people gathered around them to take pictures. I guess it'll take two weeks to become full bloom. Last time I visited this park at the time of full bloom, I had to wait for entering there for an hour due to so many people. In this year 2014, I'll be small unknown place to see it ;)

Spring is gonna be soon ;)

A sunny day.

Opening up the door of my entrance, I found Mt. Fuji lies in the blue sky. "Must be a good day today" I said to myself.

It was a day off for me, well, the's not exact. I sometimes work but most of the time I spend hours and days reading, learning, and cooking. Many people consider me as strange or dumb person, but this is my way: pursue for something what I really, really believe it as deserving to. I cook because I'm a big fun of cooking and eating alike, I read a lot because I'd like to understand what I haven't touched yet :) Since I'm not cut out to leave something special behind, I live like this no matter how many people say anything.

Heart of cities in Tokyo is too busy to live. I have to be honest that I'm happy I live outskirt in Tokyo. Only you can hear at dawn is sounds of birds whistling.

Well, I skip to explain about city centers in Tokyo for now :)

Pickles I cooked :) Ah, it's time for dinner! :D Let's go eat!! :)

Tokyo Station in a morning.

It was nearly 6:00 in the yesterday's morning when I arrived at Tokyo Station. I didn't know why I reserved the bus which leaves Tokyo such a morning. Anyway...

I chose  a bus to get to Nagoya this time. As you know, you can take shinkansen, or bullet train (The picture of shinkansen is here in my post) if you want to Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka or many places in Japan from Tokyo Station. But the biggest problem is that shinkansen is too expensive. In case I go to Nagoya from Tokyo, it costs about 10,000yen, while a bus could take 3,000 yen if you reserve in advance. For the record, Tokyo is located 350km away from Nagoya. What I'd like to talk is that it's not so away that I take the airplane.

Well, I think I talked too much :P There weren't so many people there in the Tokyo Station. To tell the truth, I was surprised to see few people around.

I tend to eat Japanese food these days I mentioned sometime ago. This time, I bought two omusubi, or rice balls.

The one was the rice ball with Tuna and mayonnaise. We call it "Tsuna-mayo" by the way and it's one of the most popular toppings with rice ball. If you go to convenience stores in my country, you can easily find Tsuna-mayo rice balls. Well...it's my favorite :D Another one I ate was....oh, I forgot :(

I took some rests in rest spots. Oh this photo reminds me of one thing. In Japanese, we write from many directions, you know. From left to right, from right
to left, from top to bottom. And different ways of writing Japanese are written in the same pages in newspapers for example. Many people from abroad ask me why we do it and still don't get confused, like "Where can I read first?!" and I always can't answer well. We can just do it somehow.

Although I didn't know at that moment, the rainy season engulfed this area. And it is raining right now too. I don't like raining :( But, well, let's enjoy spending my life in my home, just like now :)

You can do it! :)

Shortly after finishing my work, I rushed to Tokyo Station and hopped in a bus which brings me to my hometown Nagoya.I was so exhausted that most of the time I was asleep. That was the story of last week.

Those two pictures are taken one of rest stops in the express way. Yes, I love this kind of "old-fashioned things".

And it's yesterday from Nagoya to Tokyo, I took a bullet train.

It was a beautiful morning, I could see Mt. Fuji clearly and which isn't that usual.

Whatever happens, I'll never stop enjoying eating :)

Shinagawa, a hub station for Shinkansen (bullet train) and so on.

Truth be told, I went back to my hometown Nagoya yesterday. I spent only one night and turned back to Tokyo today. I got off shinkansen, or bullet train at Shinagawa station which is located near Tokyo station.

Since Tokyo station is a bit far from cities such as Shinjuku and Shibuya, many people set foot on Tokyo from here (Although Sinagawa and Tokyo station are less than 10minutes by Shinkansen).

Shinkansen, which connects across this country is very fast, smooth, and punctual. Although I want to travel with it when I go back to Nagoya, it's two or three times more expensive than travel from Tokyo to Nagoya by bus. I mean, it's about 10,000 yen, or around $120 for non-reserved seat by shinkansen.

It runs along with Mt. Fuji. It's lucky if you can see the top of it. Usually it's covered by cloud. I'm a traveler who goes back and forth between Nagoya and Tokyo, more than 10 times for round trip a year, however, I can see the top of Mt. Fuji once or twice in one year.

Mount Fuji.

Yesterday I went back to my hometown Nagoya from Tokyo by bus. On the way back to Nagoya, I saw mount Fuji. It is the highest mountain in my country and all of Japanese love it ;) I pass by mount Fuji more than 20 times a year, but it is not easy to see this because of the weather. And now, I plan to climb up to this mountain in August. Sure, it must be hard, but I will do my best!
